Dr Sunil Vyas
After Undergraduate and Post Graduate Studies in the UK, Sunil migrated to Australia. Following various hospital appointments, he undertook General Practice training and has been in Practice in South-Western Sydney subsequently. Sunil has a strong interest in medical education and community service. For several years he has been supervising and teaching Students from various NSW and interstate Medical Schools. In addition he is involved in various philanthropic and community activities through NSW Gujarati Brahman Samaj.
Dr Anju Aggarwal
MBBS, RACGP Dr. Aggarwal is a General Practitioner with a special interest in women and children health, antenatal care, musculoskeletal, dermatology and psychology. She is concurrently a member of GAPIO (Global Association of Physicians of Indian Origin), RACGP Examiner, Director and CME coordinator Nepean GP Network and Regional GP Advisor to Nepean Blue Mountains PHN. Her hobbies include Dancing, Painting, Public Speaking, Cooking and Travel.
Dr Rashi Minocha
Dr. Minocha graduated from the University of Newcastle with a Bachelor of Medicine. She has a strong interest in Dermatology and is currently undertaking a Masters of Philosophy by research degree at the University of Sydney and Royal Prince Alfred Hospital Dermatology Department. Her research focus is on the chemopreventative effect of nicotinamide (Vit B3) in melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancer. She is the recent recipient of the Walter Eberhard Schroeder Dermatology Research Scholarship from the University of Sydney.
Dr Palu Malowalla
Dr Palu Malowalla started her solo general practice in Rosehill/Parramatta area and has been consulting for the last 25 years in Australia She has an ophthalmology postgraduate degree from India but loves her job as a GP in Australia. She has been involved many Charity Programs together with her husband Avijit and would love to serve at medical camps in India at some stage.

Dr Siddalingeswara Orekondy
Dr. Orekondy graduated from University of Mysore, in 1965. He undertook further education in UK, Ophthalmology training at Sunderland Eye Infirmary. He migrated to Australia in late 1975 and was in general practice for 8 years. He then obtained FRACO (now FRANZCO) and is now a practicing Ophthalmologist at Campsie. He is a member of AIMGA since its inception. He is married with 3 children. He has been an active member of various Indian Associations and has tried his hand in SBS radio. He is also a recipient of various awards.
Dr Prurshottam Sawrikar
Dr. Sawrikar has been a general Practioner in Australia since 1974. He was the president of AIMGA in 2013 and worked as the Gen. Secretary for 10 years. He has taken various initiatives in preventive measures in improving the quality of life by production of an Udio CD on health awareness, TV shows on issues of Bowel cancer, Breast Cancer, Mac. Degenaration and Glaucoma, Radio interviews of various specialists on different Health issues and participated in Health Clinics for various Communities and taking active interest in Fundraising activities in Australia and Overseas.

Dr. Prabha Chandra graduated from Mysore university in 1966 obtaining MBBS. He then received a MS in General surgery in 1970. He migrated to Australia in 1972 and was awarded FICS in 1988. He passed a Masters of Sports Medicine from University of NSW in 1990. He was Secretary of AIMGA for 2 years & President for 2 years. He has been Secretary of Blacktown Medical practitioner’s association for 6 years & President for the last 3 years.

Dr Smita Shah is the Director of Primary Health Care Education and Research Unit, Western Sydney Local Health District and Clinical Associate Professor at Sydney Medical School, the University of Sydney. Smita has provided leadership in her field of educational research in prevention and working with disadvantaged communities and schools. In 2015, Smita received the Australian Medical Association’s Excellence in Healthcare Award. Smita chair’s the AIMGA’s Charities Committee.

Dr Amarjit Sandhu
Amarjit Sandhu is a Specialist Anaesthetist. He trained at Westmead Hospital and has worked in public and private hospitals. Currently he works at Westmead Private Hospital and Nepean Private Hospital. His special interest is facio-maxillary surgery. While most of the work is simple and repetitive the airway management in special cases can be challenging and scary. Mostly patients are healthy and young, which makes his work fun.
